European Union Foreign Policy is one of the most prominent subjects for many years, together with foreign trade and security policy. EUFAJ accompanies these policies, starting as an electronic quarterly, in an informative, descriptive, explanatory, constructive, critical, not only theoretical but also practical, and always truly European way.

This new online publication has been conceived by Europeans who want to see the European Union stronger and more articulate in international politics, European defence policy, and strong and acting responsibly in international trade. The EU’s proven, successful soft power approach can be a world-wide example.

The people behind this eQuarterly are middle on the road, hands-on and pragmatic, and they are democratic, pluralism-minded, tolerant, balanced and responsible. The publishing house of EUFAJ, LIBERTAS – European Institute, a think-tank on European and international affairs, is a limited company under German law, of which the equity holders come for one part from business, for the other from European institutions. It is known for its European, not partisan approach.

The people who are responsible for this paper are not only true Europeans, but also global citizens. Its Chief Editor knows the EU, as former Member of European Parliament, as advisor to many Central and Eastern European, Balkan, CIS and ACP government institutions, as experienced teacher, author, and conference speaker in many countries.

In addition, an Editorial Board which is gradually set up is permanently advising the editors.

For cost reasons, EUFAJ is, unfortunately, published in English language only.
