To illustrate just how close the cooperation between the EU and the Russian government once was – cooperation in which Hans-Jürgen Zahorka, then non-executive director of LIBERTAS – Europäisches Institut, also played a part (albeit a minor one) – we are publishing here a document regarding the preparation of labour legislation in Russia.: Hans-Jürgen Zahorka: Out-of Court Labour Dispute Settlement Elements in the European Union and Recommendations for Russia, Moscow 2004, 78 p., with explanatory annexes for future legislation

This was written for the EU and Russian staff of the “Labour Legislation and Arbitration Project” of the EU and Russia 2003/2004, for the Russian Duma and Federation Council, for employers’ and employees’ associations, and for the Russian judiciary and in general legal professions as well as for the respective ministerial civil servants dealing with the subject.
